    Default 2012 ford focus keyless steering column malfunction non start

    Hello all

    Trying to get a 2012 focus steering column to sync (key-less model)

    Vehicle has had used replacement column fitted, right away car start and drive, turn ignition off vehicle, lock engaged now cannot start vehicle cannot get lock off

    Tried all i can think of to learn,

    erased keys programmed keys.......

    Replaced bcm and coded to car (pats and as built flash)

    has anybody else done one?

    DTCS

    in bcm i get B1026 steering column lock, bad signal/message failure fault currently present

    and b10da pats target identifier fault currently present

    and B12CD voltage control module, missing message fault currently present

    thinking now only a new column lock from ford can be programmed like a one time program when in virgin state

    Maybe the column needs to be a Virgin?
    Genuine tools including Abritus, Autotuner Master, Bosch Ford vcm2, smok UCDS FULL JTAG FULL pcm flash, IO terminal, UPA, Autel maxicom pro, MTX dpf, dtc, immo edc17 UCDS, and a little well maintained hairy box from china I play inside!

    Hi
    Ford is sensitive to the voltage drop in the battery,check if it did not fly synchronization,In the security tab you will have to add a key, synchronize bcm-ecu-elv,only you will need incode from this you can not go back as long as you do not follow the code you will go back will be different.

    yes ... try the "module initialization" inside PATS.

    If is not too late, with FORSCAN or FOCCCUS modify in CCC "with mechanical key lock" , throw ESL out of the car and problem solved.

    Hello how are you ? how do you do with forscan to disable the lock?

    engineering option in forscan - but doesn't
