Hello!
Have some problem after mileage change. I put can filter to the CAS, and change mileage in the dash, and all is ok, on the dash have new milleage-80000km. A month passes, customer came back and said that yesterday milleage was 81500km, but after battery change the mileage dropped to 80000, i took the car and check it, and indeed, the mileage is reset to the last set value, if i put 65000 and customer will pass 200km, on the dash we have 65200km, after battery disconnect we have 65000km...
What could be the problem?

Already changed, but result the same.
Please note that mileage returns to new value specified by me, not to original stored in CAS.

Try new 35160 eeprom should sort problem

Maybe chip is faulty? Try to replace it?

It's a very strange problem. Wouldn't know what else could be possible.
I once had a same kind of problem, but the mileage went back to 5km a few times. Until the fem module was reprogrammed. But you have cas:s

i try, but this chip fine read/write..

I'm afraid to kill proc. and i use this can-filter many times on another f-models, no problems..

i dont use can filter for cas4 and i happy
