    if you have pins 2 & 10 in OBD2 connector (glove box) you can use standard ford PWM protocol

    Default Aston Martin in JLR IDS

    Came across some information regarding there being a hidden AM section in some versions of Jaguar ? Land Rover IDS.

    I did this with v118-5, but may also be in later versions.

    Edit the ?vin_entry.html? file found in JLR/IDS/HTML directory.

    Search for AML

    Remove the Ignore-Me Code <!-- ? --> from the beginning and end of the line :
    <!-- <td width="10%"><center><img src="./images/aml.jpg"/><br/><input type="checkbox" id="aml" onClick="setMarque(this.id);"/></center></button></td> -->

    Remove // from the beginning of the line:
    // document.getElementById('aml').checked = 0;

    Run IDS and get the AM selection and with further editing you can just leave the AM option.

    It recognises DB7 Vantage, Vanquish and DB9 vin numbers from around 2004 but I am not able to test on a vehicle as no VCM at present, so not sure how effectively anything works.

    Regards
