Have a problem with a BMW part number 0281013501 , garage contacted me and said they have a BMW that the battery went flat on and the AA
man jump started and lost communication with ECU , read original ECU with BDM read both files also complete read, programmed just serial from orignal one into doner ECU same part number same DDE number and sent back to garage, garage called and said they can now read ECU but is coming up with checksum error,
thinking also i need to programme flash over as well did so to find now can't communicate with doner ECU,
what is the best plan of attack to get this car started again, do i programme just the serial back in and keep original flash from doner or what
please help me original is nigels.

OK, here is your repaired file.
There is a common glitch that occurs on these ECUs, 0x0910 will change to 0014h and the correct value should be 2C1C.

Use the original eeprom/mcu files, and this repaired flash with BDM.
