What year is this? If id48, remote seperate from transponder (same as ducato, boxer, etc).
Pin from bsi or ecu, program diagnostically.

Yes, you need pin code. Normally, every iveco is delivered with pin code card. If it is lost, you can order new card for 300 Euro by dealer or read dump from bodycomputer and post it..

This black box is remote unit. Read eeprom 93xx and post dump or calculate pin for remote.

Pin code for transponder ID48 is in eeprom in immo box. You can use second hand remote.
