Hummer H3 bcm replacement

I have a Hummer H3 2008 that needs a new bcm, i will get a brand new bcm for it.
Now will i have to code it online or something? I have autel maxidas pro, launch Pro3, Tech 2 (clone)
I was researching and found that i might have to code it online using tech 2 or MDI, pay for an online subscription (which is no prob)
Anyone knows how to do it? Can we use same part number used bcm or can only use new ones?

Ok finally i was able to do it via pass thru tool and online coding.

Hi , why did you had to change the BCM ?
Reason i am asking, i have one here the odometer and trip meter does not count up .
