bmw r1200gs

hello
i have a bmw bike R1200gs keyless mcu 9s12xs256
and i have tried to read the antenna as described in tmpro2 module 198 using xprog 551, but it say the mcu is secured and only erase function is supported. and the xprog show that it can unsecure the mcu but need to connect the xtal pin and the twisted cable. while in tmpto2 just use the 4 cables vcc vss reset and bkgd.
could this mcu read without tmpro2 or just by it
and if read it is there is any way to make key without it.
i have tmpro2 but the module is expensive and cant buy it for one motor

Of course it can be read without tmpro...use xprog and solder rest cables...xclks xtal and gnd. Buy if you read it with any other programmer, tmpro won't recognise file...

Wonder how much people pay for making key for this model.

this hf unit also can be read with UPA-S & script file beside tool`s that told you `Bear`

notice that this HF unit use 128bit H-chip and all what he do is get data from mcu dump and write it to H-chip,nothing write in mcu...

after that transponder have access to self learn serial in dump,same as you order emergency key from BMW :-)

Master Gepa accurate as always...
I don't think that anyone will ever share info...
But for sure there will be many guys who will program transponder and send it to you...
But i think it won't be for free...
Because AFAIK noone will program it, under 800-1000 euro...At least direct to customer...
So i think i ansewered to HeXeN also...

also we know very well that HF unit have sensitive P-flash and can it be very easy damaged,be care when make bypass security and read...

also we know that only few guys have algo what & how to write H-chip,with proper dump can it be maked but also as Bear said nobody cant for free

yes mr it is exact what you said for the chip and learning
but with upa i couldnt read it and elrasoft told me this is not possible with upa s
