adapt cluster england to europa PASSAT B5

I have one friend and have maked one mistake and broken cluster from one passat 2003 diesel 1,9 .i have found the same cluster but from one car from england
i have can commander.My question how can i make to work cluster from england if i change dump(or write the dump ) from the old cluster(europa) to the england cluster will work?and the display from europa cluster numbers with km

i have and x prog to read the old dump(europa broken) and write to the new one(england cluster),the cluster is with bord computer.

Change coding to change miles to km. Copy dump may be not enough if dash are different.
Better change coding, adjust mileage and make new key transponders or make immo off
