So i took the immo box out and its the fiat yellow box type device no 46417024
I see there is one 93lc48 inside. I have a programmer that can read/write it, but whats possible to do with it?
The older citrofiatgiot Ducato family of vehicles have that strange immo system. They have no ecu because the pump is mechanical, so they have a immo board on top of the fuel solenoid on the pump, and all that stuff is covered by a hard steel armor. Then the second part of the immo system is by the ignition switch.
my friend bought a ducato tow truck with a bad chip in the key.
does anybody know how those old systems work?
i know the traditional way is to cut the armor from the fuel pump, physically remove the immo module and connect a +12v to the valve. Iv done this myself several times but removing that armor is a pain in the ass. You need electricity, a grinder, a dremel, etc.
is there any way to immo delete or program a new key or whatever thru electronics without cutting metal? Only to drive it home. Then we can cut the armor off in a nice dry warm garage not in a wey field in the rain!

should be able to off load it onto a T5 chip
Was Banned For Being Certifiably Insane and Stupid
Tow service would be the most painless solution
Then use the grinder
