Mercedes W204 2008 c350 auto not starting.

Hi guys
im wondering if anyone can help mere here

i was trying to help a mate out in his garage with this
cars been in a front right collision.
damage been repaired
but will not start
airbags deployed so i resistored them all up just to get a green light across the airbag board .... all ok after resistors
still no crank
pyro fuse is ok and reporting right resistance
i had STAR. On it and checked ezs and ecu DAS
EZS reports drive authorize is ok and sends voltage on terminal 50 i think to crank
but the problem i think is the gearbox
as on the dash where it shows P R N D i belive if its in park you should have a square around the P
but on the vehicle there is no square or light on the indicators on the side of the gear stick to show what gear its in
in DAS in the ecu i did a test and it cant see the gear changes ie if i put it to R or N
so i believe this is why its not starting.
but im stumped now
is there a fuse that may of gone when it was bumped ?
maybe down that pannel where the positive is for jump leads !

ive check all fuses in front sam as sometimes a 7.5 can blow and cause a no crank situation

Your answer lies in your second picture, go there on first line select it and press F3 .......ENGINE ECU is not married or activated properly.

you think the bump would of damaged the ecu some way ?
its strange the 7g gearbox is not putting to the speedo what gear its sat in tho

but i see from the second pic yes
may be when the ecu is synced up it will talk properly to the 7G ??

can star sync them up ?

what you need is virgin ecu and teach in to the car.
you can do this with abrites .
to do this with star i think you need online.
