key programming (amateur user)

hello guys, i am new with imobilliser things i would like to ask about some keys and remotes,how can i programm them, for example opel corsa c id 40 can i programm it with avdi (original tool) or it need some old tools like sbb or x100 furthemore of mitusbishi carisma id44?I saw in one forum that zed full or avdi sometimes cant program old cars keys . and i was really confused why this expensive tools cant program old keys.Is it truth or a lie?

I might not able to reply your (Q) but you have lots and lots of reading till eye balls comes out of socket to start learning and on some peoples it may take up to 5 years and the equipments not cheap, once fully locksmith the reward is there….

avdi will extract pin code and will program the corsa c key no problem , but it will not program the remote control , sbb , ad100 pro or mvp pro or zedfull will all program the remote but not avdi.

avdi is unlikely to work on the charisma as only has can coverage , mvp pro or ad100 pro will do this old key .

you will find that all good programmers are expensive , top kits are better on newer makes than older cars , but despite being expensive no single programmer will do all , all have their strengths , weaknesses and gaps in coverage and still plenty that cant be done at all without dealer key and dealer machine , to maximise coverage multiple programmers are required , which all need £££ spent on updates to keep them up to date , then they get superceeded by the new programmers , its a never ending cycle of upgrading and investment , but no single programmer will do all .

ad100 pro and mvp pro has the best overall coverage of the older vehicles , and dont rule out machines like T300 and SBB on older cars as token savers and cost savers.

it is and always has been a never ending money pit that requires deep pockets and alot of learning to keep up with, every day is a school day , investment and learning never ends.
