    Default Tango and CCM question

I just watched the video about Tango and making key for Passat B6.
Guy reads eeprom from CCM, then loads the file into Tango, Tango modifies the file (adds 3th key), and then the file is uploaded again into CCM eeprom.

    QUESTION: What about immobilizer ?

In whole procedure I didn't see any modification in immobilizer.
Isn't the immobilizer the place were all data about learned keys is stored ?

I just can't believe that such vital part of the car such IMMO is located in such relative unimportant part as CCM.
What if I decide to take the CCM out ? IMMO is then also gone ?

    Here video in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s1OupjHAqA&t=384s

Of course it's not gone, Take out comfort module and car wont start with or without keys. No different to having keys stored in dash or kessy like other vag. Ecu still needs start authorisation and matching cs
