Hello, i did a key for W169 today using Xhorse key and CGDI Mb. The customer called saying it sometimes turns and sometimes doesn't let him turn the key in eis.
I'm still kinda new with benz so I ask now could it be key or eis related or maybe both. I'm not sure but I think he had same problem before with his original key.

I think i found the problem. There is dirt on the ir sensor in eis. I know cuz I checked the video of starting the car and saw very well that there is some dirt covering the circle part. I will clean it if customer comes back and check results.

I'll check everything if he comes back. A friend of mine had same issue. But no word from customer yet...
Update: I have my own E class yr 2011. I just had to check if it is true that dirt can cause problems in eis, so I put a small piece of thin paper over my key tip and inserted it. It wouldn't work. I am now 100% certain that this is the same problem with A class.
Update 2: ir port in EIS cleaned. Now there are no more problems. Key works fine.
