    When I want to use infra red key for getting psw from W203 2002 year with 1 existing key what to choose in program? Copy with or without key? I can't see explanation of using IR adapter in manual. Or just click copy with key (as working key available) and then software will tell me what to do, use IR or put key into EIS etc.? I have customer arriving with this car and I'd just like to know what to do from beggining. I only did newer models using existing key to get psw by putting it to EIS.

    W203 is Kline EZS, and when you use only IR simulate key to read PSW this meaning: AKL (COPY without key)

    And with AKL Kline, CGDI doesn't support.

    Hmm, okay. I thought it support as I saw VVDI MB working on old W203 HC08 EIS all in car with just IR adapter to get psw. I thought old K-Line EIS with HC08 (W203, W220) is 100% with IR adapter.

    EDIT:

    Customer arrived and first thing I tried was copy with key option. I was expecting some kind of failure that way but In like a 15 min process of putting (and rotating sometimes) key to EIS and CGDI device, finally I got psw. Well this was 2002 year so I think it must have been HC08 which I thought this way is impoissible but maybe I'm wrong or misleading facts... But the fact is I programmed new key in like 30 min all in car using existing key but the car was not happy of BE key and after like 10 starts it is not working anymore. It unlock ESL but cannot turn anymore. Remote working OK. On monday I will program ori NEC key, should be no problem.

    I've made a G class 2000 with W203 EZS to add key, it take more time but work to get PSW.

    Write 2 BE key, one start sometime and dead. Other not work at all.

    It the seconde time with old car that BE compatibility problem. Solved with ori Nec key.

    W204 EIS fold down on the floor with key in. After this not possible to read password key and no more ignition. But fortunately I read it on the car. So was easy to make clone of eis. Now all ok.

    That recent W203 didn't even like Abrites TA21 PCB. Same situation like on China BE key as I described. Wrote original NEC with CGDI and everything work well.
