Default Renault Kangoo 2006, A/C clutch not engaging with engine running

I have a Kangoo 1.9D 2006 with a problem with the air conditioner. With the engine on, the blower blows air, but the compressor clutch doesn't engage.

I tried activating the compressor clutch relay with a delphi ds150e, it works fine and i can see the clutch engaging. With ignition on, I move the AC knob (not the blower) to activate it and I hear a relay below the glovebox working.

But with engine on, the compressor clutch is not engaging, I can't hear the relay below the glovebox because the engine is loud as shit. Blower works fine. Fuses are all ok.

What could be the issue that cause the clutch to not engage with the engine on?

Now is time to fill those pipes with the right amount of refrigerant ,i bet there is none left.
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection

Forgot to mention. I pushed the filling port valve with a screwdriver, gas came out with tons of pressure so it seems it's quite full. Will try to get the pressure measured, but I don't think that's the problem. I didn't have much time to check on the car, but I think the relay below the glovebox is the issue, were checking all the cables, and there's one that is the same color as the one in the compressor, and it never has voltage. Will try to check it tomorrow.

You can guess all day long, screwdriver in filling port or tire valve means absolutely nothing...
Never heard of anybody sticking a pointy thing at a tire valve and assessing the tire pressure, yet a lot of people do that with A/C....

More likely to be either lack of gas but more likly the trianary switch
Unlikely but small chance dK thanks button not pressed enough could cause it

Guess what, pressing thanks worked. It was the trinary switch (we also replaced the relay below the glovebox at the same time but it may have been that too).

    Thanks everyone.
