Do people even bother with Dream boxes any more? Zgemma for cheap and great boxes and plenty others out there. Dream are dead.

only thing i dont like about the zgemmas are you have to use a external hard drive instead of internal like dreamboxes.

I use a vu+ duo2 fitted with a cable + sat tuner, it works very well.

I did find an old dreambox 500c in my attic that also works for vermin (no hd though), if you're not fussed about hd channels and you have one lying around - they work well with cccam and oscam for ppc.

My genuine DM8000 with 2 x sat & 2 x cable tuners, 1tb internal drive is still going strong, had it now for 10 years and was bought second hand............
I also have a Zgemma H2H, good box and works well. All comes down to £££ and what people are prepared to pay.

ok got the dm900 clone box very happy with it channel change boot times very fast.

    look at the specs

4K Powerful receiver for digital TV and Radio programs.
    - Ultra-fast dual-core 12K DMIPS CPU
    --BCM7252 Tuner
    - SIM 230 card
    - 2GB RAM, 4GB flash
    - 6cm quiet fan and HDMI connector

    - supports the Linux TV API
    - 10/100MBit compatible Ethernet Interface
    - HDMI connector
    - plug & play Tuner
    - colored OLED display
    - plug & play slot for an internal 2,5" SATA hard disk

    DM900 UHD 4K 2x DVB-S2x 1x DVB-C/T2 Tuner

much better then my zgemma h5 2tc runs much smoother and uses a 5amp power supply instead of a 2amp like zgemma box.
