Peugeot 307 cc - need pin (question)

I've read on other forums it's possible to get the Pin for reprogramming car keys. I don't have the customer ID card and I only have 1 key. I have bought pp2000 and diagbox from fleabay with the correct cables to plug into the obd2 connector.

Now I know I can get this from a dealer for about £20/30 but is it possible to get elsewhere for free - such as using my vin number in a keygen or something? Sorry for my noob question on this, I've never programmed keys before.

with diagbox ..not possible from obd2. If you want to get PIN code, you need to use dedicated tools, or handly ..handly means take out BSI or ECU and read eeprom from one of them, after that, calculate PIN from dump.
