Default BMW F-series: how to check real mileage?

Does anyone know how to check real mileage for BMW F-series (or E-series)?
Currently looking one 2009 530d GT (F07) but also good to know how to do it for E-series.

Which modules should have this info and how to read - which cable & software?

    My thoughts:
    * Key - key is having mileage, but is it just taken from dashboard and no history then?
    * LCM - some say that DTCs of LCM shows the mileage (but for E-series it "didn't work" via ISTA - I had same number "524280" for multiple E60s)
    * DPF history - is it useful, can it be looked through ISTA?
    * ...any more ideas? what to read or on what based to calculate actual mileage?

mileage can be stored pretty much in every control module, this is a little different from model to model. E series it can be stored up to 6 times in one control module like CAS for example.
cas will have milage stored: errors, AIF, module, and module history 3 times
every other module should be: errors, AIF, module.
ECU will have also battery registrations and hours

You can't check mileage with those tools......
Guided fault finding = Feature that many factory scan-tools have and real technician despise it.

if i remember correctly with ista-d you can see final report and milage in every module.
yes every module can be reset with special tools such as autohex2 or avdi
