Default Splitting Virmin Signal to Cable Box

    Hi All,

I have a 200MB virmin BB installed. I also noticed there is a 3db attenuator connected to the back of my Virgin Router.

IF I were to split the signal using the 5-1000 splitter so I can use the seccond feed in my Vusolo2 box, do I still need to use the attenuator or would it be okay to just connect both 2 output into the Cable box and the Virmin Hub. Picture of the attenuator below

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Before you do anything make a note of the Signal levels on the VM superhub router page, then split the cable and attach feed to Router again and have a look at the levels if they are near enough the same forget fitting the attenuator
