there are some issues with calc in carprog for this vehicle. i had this problem before and it took like 20 tries to get milage and hours right, also carprog has idle and drive hours mixed up. lets say you try to write 500 idle and 1000 drive and 1500 total as a result you going to get 1000 idle 500 drive and 1500 total. i reported that problem to carprg but as always they never fixed it.

Think your expecting too much from that tool its like wanting to take an engine apart with just 1 crescent/adjustable wrench, sure its a great tool for that you need a set of tools. In regards to RAM you need Smele Full & a Good Scanner $2,000-$4,000 or Witech. For a proper job, Dash, SRI & Multiple Module DTC's For A Diesel you will need Cummins Diag for ECM I think.

Either keep going at it "your own risk" or have someone with Smele, Jprog or Maybe DP4 do it. Where you at?

I believe so, someone else will come along and verify but I think as long as all gauges, accessories etc work properly, no weird lights, etc then you should be ok. What kinda hours we talking about? can you post pics, vid of dash?

On Avg Hours should be anywhere from 4400 to 6200 drive and 440 to 1200 idle for that mileage

If you are using the A1 Multi then try Updating it by going to HW test...A1 OBD Test and hit start.
Then test it out after update
