Need too clone bmw DDE8

Hello people
I need to help someone out who's been ripped off, so I said I will take a look for him,
he had a remap done by this company, now they said the car needs coding to it ill not run but remap done, so he took it to a local bmw indy after the remap guy put a used cas and dde and key on the car so he could take the car away , well the indy garage took a look a the DDE 8 17EDC and it had the lid and back cover been literally broken apart, so the bmw garage said they can not do anything as there is no signal from injectors,
, I was called by the garage as they now I do some eeprom reading writing and circuit board stuff on Mercedes stuff, so I collected the DDE after reading the car with inpa, when I open up the DDE it has had a screw driver slip straight in to the one side of the injector driver cui, and mashed up one side of the chips legs, now I managed to de solder chip (bosch 4006 )but its knackered, and the board don't look good, so iam looking to see if I can clone or what ever for the indy garage and the owner,

its a edc17 , dde8 they have mashed the injector driver chip, idiots

i have a few programmers, i was thinking for getting a k-tag, what do you think ?

can i dial in a used DDE 8 too the original cas, or do i have to verginize the original cas to dial into used dde ?
