Default VW Sharan 2017 2.0TDI - many questions

    Hello to everyone.
I have an ocasion to buy ( very cheap ) VW Sharan year 2017 2.0 TDI manual gearbox which was " drowned" in water.
I took out all control modules out , cleaned them , put them all back and powered up the car and tried to do some diagnostics.
I got answer from - Can Gateway , Engine control module(EDC17C64) , Steering column ,ABS and Rear right passenger control module.
All other modules are dead (mostly coroded boards ), BCM ( BCMPQ35) , trailer , parking brake , doors, Instrument cluster , Climate module front and rear etc etc.
    Now my question :
If i buy used Instrument cluster, BCM and all other dead modules will i be able to match them to car? I mean i dont know what modules have component protection ( if there is one) , what about immo? Coding will be no problem.
I have many tools, original and clone. My target is to try to start the car to see if the engine is ok .

Some info about the most important modules:

    Engine ECU : 04L907309K HW: H20
    Intrument Cluster : 7N0920870Q HW: H03 SW: 1104 TGS: 04S
    BCM : 5K0937086T BCMPQ35 H122 S0184
    Gateway : 7N0907530BJ HW:7N0907530AL

Maybe you could try with immo off just to check the engine with a second hand ECU.
Maybe you can read original on the bench to get out the info. And then copy the info, over to the new second hand one.

Someone with online dealer equipment would probably help you out with the adaption of the rest of the second hand modules.
    Or maybe AVDI or AutoLogic.

When you have verified the engine is OK. Not sure if all modules can be second hand, but probably several of them.

    Keys are lost or not?

    I have all keys.
    Engine ecu is ok.
    Gateway is ok.
Instrument cluster does not power up, but i don‘t know if it will power up if the bcm is dead. I tried to power the instrument cluster on bench but without results, i think it needs wake on can signal , or am i wrong?
I am waiting now for used bcm to test.

Installed used bcm. All ecu’s are dead. I ordered now Airbag ecu, steering column, PDC, doors ecu’s , Ac front and rear ecu‘s. I must find Instrument cluster.
What do i need to make keys to the new(used) instrument cluster?
Is it worth to try to swap mcu and eeprom from old cluster to new one?

    Thanks for all you answers.
Car is up and running, after lot of work
Engine ECU was not damaged , only all other ecu's were dead.
I buyed all of them ( used ones).
In instrument cluster i changed Mcu and eeprom from original cluster and i had luck, cluster alive , keys recognized , engine started.
Gateway , Steering column, Airbag - Mcu's replaced with cars original ones - everything ok .
All other ecu's , only needed to be coded .
Now i must find Navigation System - used one
