    Default if airbag srs cleared!!...still airbag system work ?!

    Hi ,,

    just a question , if i reset airbag from crash data and every thing has been replaced " driver airbag,passanger airbag, seat belt...ect" and all system is good and has no trouble code dtc ....

    but only old SRS module has been cleared from its crash data,,, is it still working and safe ,,, it will deploy when crash happen ?
    and is it for all car brands ?

    Yes, granted the data is clear correctly and not too much data erased. However, 9 times out of 10 if you clear incorrectly you will have a module faulted code and airbag light will be on

    many kia-hyundai ACU have in dump deployed airbags off area and often peoples do not clean this area, but in the next collision disabled airbags will not work!!!, every time check that ACU sees deployed airbags, if you disconnect the airbag but the error does not come - bad solution, ACU does not work correctly, on other brands less often, but you can also get caught on this

    please explain more how to reset properly so the airbags are activated.
