    Default pork comfort

    Melt butter in a heavy pan add onion,cellery salt n pepper cook approx 5 min, add hot water,chesnuts and mushrooms boil let simmer for 10min mix up corn flour to a little water 2 tbl spoons and add soy sauce, add this to the pan a little at a time and stir constantly until it thickens ( put rice on) keep stirring for final 5mins and serve on rice, enjoy

    Just been reading the instructions. You don't mention at which point you add the pork.

    Looking at the recipe i would melt the butter and add the onions then add the pork.
