you cannot program remote key for MQB with VCDS , no separate procedure .
when you program the transponder , the remote will work automaticly !

you have two choices in the morning: go back to bed and continue dreaming, or you get up to make your dreams come true

will this is not completely right.
there is a body computer under the steering wheel its some how responsible for the central locking, some times its goes bad we just change it with new one or used.
if we need the remote to work we had to go to dealer and thy adapt the original remote to car not the transponder, the remote that was working with the bad unit.
if we dont need the remote "central locking" to work no adaption needed.
we had done this several times this unit is faulty.
i want to know is there is a way to do the adaption without dealer i dont want transponder now, because i can see i kedy thy had a remote for the 5th generation for vag

Yes I think it is also based on 09 central electric module for remote coding ?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

How are you sure they are not just running key learning again to sync the remote into the new unit?

for the remote to work we need to adapte it with the dealer tool
but if you dont want remote to work. no adaption needed car starts and dash and radio AC every thing work
so dealer just sync the remte part.

Yes - my point is what makes you think the dealer isn't just learning the key again which adds the remote to the module. Why are you convinced these are two seperate processes?
