hi, thanks you for your post, if I bought a Ktag clone which is already in version 7.020 , what can i do with your solution and firmware , what is it for, i don't understand the problem for the ktag?Is it to rework it?

hi guys, i have k-tag clone sw2.13 hw6.070 that im busy with repairs, blocked due to internet connection, just found sd card 6.070 updates files then saw this thread... i am willing to try this new update but have not done this repair before. also what benefits do you get out of this new firmware update (7.020)?

I don’t think you’ll be able to flash your nxp it’s locked and needs to be replaced, there’s a solution here in forum that it’s with heat that way you’ll be able to unlock the chip but I didn’t tried.

Best way is to buy a empty nxp and try to flash using jlink or similar.

yes i do have bin aswell for new nxp, all repairs states to try sd card method first... will research that solution after i try sd card method first. i was also told for xprog5.0 to buy new atmega64 chip to update to new xprogm 5.5 but i did it without hassles so lets hope my luck dont run out

. thanks for the info though. i have tried reading sd card and pics up as corrupt so hope its only that

so i took sd card out and read on pc, say corrupt, so i format and it works, i load sd files and put it back in ktag but when i take it out of ktag its corrupt again. is this due to nxp that is locked?

make new sdcard 2-4 GB...not formated...use ksuite 2.08 and make again update....with the Update folder full with families...and before asking help here,use search buton...this problem is posted many times into this forum....also the real solution

Hello all !
For those who use the "custom CID method" with a CID programmable SD card "Samsung" or "Chinese" :

Here is a 7.020 SD card image identical to that of post 1, but I re-encrypted it with a much easier CID.
I did not generate this file with a manual solution, but with my own script.
Thanks to svvag2000 for the original image !

1) You just need to change your SD card CID to : 123456789ABCDEF123456789ABCDEF00
(For Samsung evo SD card : With "evoplus_cid" or "mmc32" under Linux or Android, with super user privileges).
(For China SD card : With the specific Chinese software).

2) Write this SD card image to your SD card with "ImageUSB" or "Win32 Disk Imager"

NO PASS

Hello, I have a red ktag 7.020 clone and obd cable adapter 144300T108 , but it does not work
I saw a friend having ksuite v2.44 and ktag with obd adapter and worked very well, do you have any idea what the connection is?

144300T108 pinout :

KTAG_DB15 ---> OBDII
11 ---------------> 04 ; 05 (Ground)
07 ---------------> 06 (CAN_H)
14 ---------------> 07 (K-Line)
15 ---------------> 14 (CAN_L)
05 ---------------> 16 (Battery Power)
