saab 93 keys

i want to virginise old saab 93 keys . i know the pcf7946at chip needs to be changed .

1 . does a precoded new chip allow me to then code key to car with tech2
2 . any reliable uk suplliers for these chips precoded to saab

I think you need a working key to do that.
If all keys lost, you need to virginize cim ( if you have cim unit) and then adapt keys with tech2 with Saab card, or add new key to cim dump with Tango.

You can add 5 keys to cim.
Take a look by opcom or tech2 with candi how many keys you have now.
From old key remove old PCF7946 and precode for saab with programer new blank PCF7946.
Solder it back *now you have like new from saab dealer and add this key with tech2 to car.( you must have security access)
Job done.

For me it was not working. Was not possible to add by Tech2.

what year SAAB? it use the bladed key or the pod key? Bladed key has a twice module to eeprom and the pod has a CIM. To do all key lost think you have to have a tech 2 and Tis2web with tech 2 hooked up to computer. much easier to eeprom
