pass-thru with Toyota tis. i was called out to teach in clutch adaptation after replacement clutch actuator on a Toyota Yaris semi auto. car was accelerating before i attempted to do adaptation. when my adaptation finished . car stopped accelerating. tried many times adapting but wouldn't take it . car was towed to dealers and finally they sorted it with there tool. i believe it was something to do with avdi passthru drivers not right for the job. wouldn't ever use avdi again for Toyota gearbox adaptation.

I have problem with ZN002 PROTAG. Doesnt want to read/write ID48, pcf7936 and probably more. My reseller told me that its normal; protag is very unstable and I have to wait for updates. Is it true?

ESL virgin is required only all key lost situation and not with all models. I do not understand any of you complaining about that. I have 2 boards virgin which I use just for that.....

Bigger concern is when will January update link show up in email?
Guided fault finding = Feature that many factory scan-tools have and real technician despise it.

Didn’t have this issue... I did use it few days ago just for that, writing 7936. Reading other transponders also worked. Preparing too.

This becomes an issue when you read MED17 ECU data for example, then it try's to upload data and you get failed internet connection wasting time.
In such cases I would suggest to open the BMW2 software first (or another cloud based software). If there is no connection you won't be able to proceed selecting the model.

Regarding the Passat - please check the connection between AVDI <-> OBDII. This is most common reason for this behavior of the software. It happened to me yesterday with an Audi A4 B6.
Regarding the Kia Ceed - according to me the model is not supported as our coverage is at the moment limited talking about models after 2012/2013, we are aware of that and currently working hard on it. We just updated our PassThru driver for some OEM software as Kia GDS 2017 and Huyndai GDS 2017. Next step would be to update the coverage of the models.

At the moment, once you have found the 7th byte, you then have to manually select "all 7 bytes known" and then manually transcribe all the bytes into this field.
It's a painful process and if you get 1 of the 14 digits incorrect, its all over.
We have two different processes which is resulting in this inconvenience:
    1. To prepare the key - for this purpose we need to find the 7th byte
    2. To learn the key - unfortunately this process is not directly connected to #1, and the key learning process will not try to find the 7th byte but ask you to insert all 7 bytes manually.

It is not possible because we do currently support VDO/Continental dashboards 2014+ only.
