I made then key with vvdi it reads immodata without any problem

Abrites wont read VDO in A3 1.6 pcr2.1..
Dont know why but security accsess fail.and worst is its pcr2.1 cant read unless its unlocked...
Once tuning tools released pcr2.1unlock by obd i tough that will speed up process but once you write flash by obd and ecu status shows unlocked with X17 abrites still see as locked....so i have to take ecu out and unlock on bench

i use fgtech for that.

My a3 was with simos 9 ecu petrol, avdi also failed also on bench. I wrote support they just told me "The Micronas is still not supported, I am sorry to have to deliver this information."

You precode key and later learn it with key learning function?

Yes..precode key and learn with abrites A3 CAN..
But if you be doing this next time with abrites in pcr2.1 ecu...once you get cs from ecu you have to find 7th byte from working key...this works ok but once you see 7th byte... for example "A2"
Typ this manually couse if you let abrites prepare key it dose wrong..in my case it put 80 instead A2..so you have a window to preper key with all known CS use that and manually typ in all 7 bytes and then works ok..after that just learn key with pin. with abrites or vcds.

In mine case i had transit custom 2015..
I think i pick transit and it wouldn't program..
I would have to open abrites to see the screen..to refresh my memory

Hi all.
buy the soft VN004 recently and today try to read an ecu EDC17c46.
the connections as shown in the manual and using (box distribution)
but nothing, I attach a photo of the error.
try also to read it with a configuration of other manuals and nothing the same.

their manual only about ten years out of date
