This doesn't work, tested it a few times.
A connection with bmw online does not solve the problem with say VAG commander, still have to open it twice.

In that case I will check whether it is possible to implement some additional connection status check before starting the procedure.

Yes, this is the problem I am talking about.
Surely they could rewrite a small section of the code to write the found bytes into the waiting boxes.
VVDI does this automatically, perhaps they could borrow their code.

Thank you for the feedback. We will try to add an automatic insertion and release it with the next VAG software build in order to avoid mistyping errors.

i used to be able to read Audi ecu etc
untill yet another license jiggle yet again
had vag full couple of times and seem to get jiggled about
so never know what’s going to work nowadays

I made a spare key to a Ford Focus 2018 flick-blade today using AVDI. Having had many failures on late Ford with AVDI recently, I really wasnt expecting it to work, but it did.

Can we try to keep the posts in this thread about problems and solutions of AVDI. Speculation about who copied who and what came out first, are all great fun, but dont really achieve much other than wear people down.

not taking any sides here, i own a fully loaded AVDI (missing a few licences but only a couple) its one of the best tool iv owned and i own every single tool from original to clone.
everything has bugs, nothing is perfect, and as for support, evrytime iv contacted support i get a response within a few hours and no im NOT with KAP.
i had a query last week, support helped out straight away and i even got a response from Ventzy!

i just think u need to give them a chance mate

i am all for giving a chance
but after many years sending bugs and no replys and nothing fixed
it gets a bit long in the tooth

Toyota smart key unlock until not working.

Yes, please continue to point out the faults so that we could remove them and improve the tool, but don't mention VVDI every time in this thread.
SMOK as probably the first to offer mileage calibration for the MQB, but we were the first to offer MQB key learning and we are proud of that. Then of course we probably have been copied by other companies (MQB key learning).
No third party developers..
