I also am facing this problem after another locksmith has tried to add a spare key to 2012 XV and corrupted link between BIU-ECM. I am able to add additional G chip keys to BIU but fault code in ECM is P1571 and immo light solid. Are you able to help me to repair the fault, with dump from BIU/ECM?

I tried also with AVDI to do function 'Engine ECU Registration' for 60 minutes without success.

I really appreciate it, I have no other solution I can provide for this vehicle.

I am awaiting customer to call back because of other locksmith incorrect coding the customer may go to dealership and try with his insurance, but if not they will call me back to attempt repair. Do I need to read and upload dumps from both BIU & ECM?

dealer will not be able to reprogram it... they need to change biu and ecu and to sell you 2 keys ( this operation is very expensive... )
some times also dashboard get corrupted if they attemp many time to reprogram the car by reset-ing the system....
in all case i have the solution without changing any part... for more info you can contact me as message

I have the same issue I tried programming imprezza 2012 it wouldn’t start , I then tried to do all keys lost and car wouldn’t start either it recognized the keys registeredto the car but wouldn’t start and security light goes on after 3-4 seconds of key in the ignition .. do you know what I should do

You problem can be fixed very easly. Just read dumps and post them here
