    Default ford EEC-VI

    What tool can read/write this ecu on bench. I found only kess v2 by obd can do itd.
    what kind of flash and processor is inside?

    ecu is: 6S61-12A650-XB from fiesta ST

    Be carefull, even original kess tends to brick that ecu. Then is a nightmare to recover. MPC5xx processor, bmd tool needed, but no info and no visible bdm pads. So... you are warned

    Done 6 car by obd kess 5.017 no problem

    Perhaps 5.017 has fixed protocol for that ECU. Have seen spmething like that on renault EDC16CP33 ... same ecu older kess can read and write just fine, after 2011 for example only the fixed protocol (in 5.017) can read and write it.

    I talk of bricked using original kess and alien people washed hands.

    Told to recover by vcm ids but the brick was total, no comms, had to replace ecu finally and match with vcm ids.

    And flashing process went smooth, no errors, just after remove key and put again... dead ecu.

    Very unstable obd protocol for that ecu even with ori tool. Just that.
