VAG EDC16 Cloning

Hello,

Got a costumer with a 2.0 TDI engine and the ecu is faulty but readable.

He got a 1.9 tdi ecu with same edc16 unit and asked me to clone it. (waiting for ecu codes)

It normally works or a i need to do something else in particular?

Well, just got hold of the question itself.

Rather complex case and not my area.

Car as some parts from a uk model unit and other from norma european, meaning its all messed up.

I´l pass this..
