62 reg. 1.4tfsi. Petrol. Have a fault code of p2263 turbocharger supercharger boost system performance. Engine light on and Epc light. I have changed turbo actuator and boost map sensor,but fault still there. Checked pipes and turbo,all seems fine. Anyone had this problem before.
in live data boost map sensor has a actual and specified.
on idle specified reading is about 300 but the actual is about 900.

There is no vacuum hose on this turbo, it's electronic. I fitted a new electronic turbo actuator, but still the same. Can anyone help
What tool are you reading this with? Actual and specific should be same not x3. Does this have boost sensor AND map sensor? If so with ign on engine off they should read the same a/pressure.

Yes it has map and boost sensors, but I have changed both, but fault still there using original vagcom .
OK you have both, now answer the question in live data. Do they read the same? They should only read sea level pressure. Come on mate this is schoolboy stuff.

Turbo pressure specified 300 / actual 900 and the actuator specified 140% / actual 101.03% so actuator not controlling turbo properly. Address 5F showing terminal 30 (B+) 13.4v at time of its own fault but address 01 showing 11.52v @ 1145.5 rpm. Maybe not enough lectric to ECU and / or actuator ? Wiring is like dental floss and the plugs look like they have come from China on these nails. 4.4v on lower stop as well?

Checked wiring to Ecu. All fine.battery voltage was low because battery faulty,I have changed this. I have tested map and turbo pressure sensor,with key off both read outside air, when running map reading 300 and turbo pressure sensor around 999 outside air. So sensors and wiring fine. Should the turbo pressure sensor be at 999 with engine running. If I accelerate in live data boost pressure goes from around 999 to 1100 ,very small change . Can anyone help.

Sounds very strange to be fair. Tickover MAP you would expect to he 350mbar or somewhere there. Turbo not being controlled correctly or not being abled to be controlled how the ECU wants as far as we know. The specified 140% on the actuator and 101% actual would suggest the ECU is trying to throttle back the turbo because there is too much turbo pressure. Your turbo pressure at tickover is near atmospheric pressure and doesnt rise much away from atmospheric when boosting. Its like there is a hole in the inlet manifold. But you would obviously see that. Could it be like an EGR sticking open - although if it was bad EGR you would have thought it wouldnt run right. Can you use the diagnostic to make turbo actuator do a full swing (although that wouldn't explain 1 bar at tickover). Surely the 1 bar at tickover would be the first thing to solve. Where exactly are the two pressure sensors.

You say you fitted a new actuator (V465), there are 2 versions on these, 1 you need to adjust linkage to specified amount (spec through diag) and the other version just needs to be adapted in Engine controller. What version do you have?

Actuator has to be adjusted. We have taken off the waste gate and there's quite a bit of play, and slightly sticky. Going to replace full turbo at request of customer.so I will let you no. Thanks for the help.
