Received my xTool Pad2 pro yesterday.

Tested on my own and Friend's cars:

- 1999 Volkswagen Polo 6N1 read immo-Pin: FAIL

they should not list cars that they don't cover really. before i bought this tool, i read a lot and asked many People. Some said it's crap but the most said it's a good tool.
Now, i can say, for european Cars, don't buy!!

for peugeot citroen its OK..but others i dont know...for about 2-3days i will have some Opel to do..and i will post results...few days ago i have landrover freelander 2006 add remote its ok (this is only what is in meni).

- 2007 Renault Espace IV Phase 2 read Immo-Pin: FAIL -- On this stuff, I had some hope. Kind of disappointed that it is not working. But not so many of the CN developers have all Renault ready.
K518 started late with this. But they are really ahead now. If you go for the Trail 3 months free. Then subscribe.

- 2006 Porsche Cayenne 9PA read immo-pin: FAIL -- I guess its only reading ECU info. So if you have one ECU which is not supported. It would fail. Not unusual. Like Porsche Cayenne 4.5 Turbo. Out with the Kessy on the bench.

- 2001 Volkswagen Polo 6N2 read immo-Pin: FAIL -- For these Polo's with immobox - I don't know any other tool who can read them. Except on the bench with programmer.

- 2010 Mercedes Viano read immo-Pin: FAIL -- This is not like VVDI MB or CDGI only for disable enable key or refresh remote - as far as I can see. So I think you had some high hope regarding this one.


But for Japanese cars - I think it is quite nice. I guess South Korea is likewise.
Ford Mondeo 2009 standard key. Ford Mondeo 2010 Prox new style. No problem.

And just to inform. After the subscription is finished. I think it was 2 years free updates. They want 400USD to go for another year.

If you fail on a vehicle. It is very important that the engineers get this info. So they can find out what went wrong. And hopefully they can come up with a solution. This is important of any developer. Not just this one.

And as a last comment. I did pay full price for my tool. Did not get it for free.

About the Renault Espace: I got a pin, but not the correct. i think it's because Renault encrypted the ISK after 2006 model year.
About the Mercedes: for this i had no hope, i tested only to see what happens.
About Porsche: Yes, i've tested on a 4.5 Turbo S model with kessy. Thanks for this hint!
Polo: Some really old Tools can read the pin over K-Line. I think These cars are too obsolete to Support on a modern tool.

For sure i will talk to the developers and tell what is to improve in a friendly way. i hope they can do something.
I will test this unit more and give more Feedback.
