prius 2 usa keyless + chip

Please advice .
situation owner lost transponder from key when replaced key shell.

key is 3 button. One is red. Usa market. Key is keyless go.
no car starts and locks as usual as keyless work. But when put key in slot car not start and no transponder.
what is the solution for this?

Possible just program new chip by obd if key has no chip only keyless?

Start your post with year,make,model you should know these. It sound like a Prius Black case with silver logo or black logo? Silver logo is true proxy but still has a chip for slot pocket but will also work outside the pocket. The black logo will only work inside the slot pocket no proxy. Hope it helps!

Is full prox as transponder lost but car starts.

Now its sounds all keys lost. If add key by obd prox still work or will be reseted?

Sorry for the delay immo can be reset by a $12 Tool.
Lexus/Toyota quick reset orange dongle or t300,

( it’s a 4D system that can reset these car ) Proxy goes into the slot pocket, (just like key goes into the barrel) treat it the same way. So after reset how to shut the learn mode. >>cycle key 5 time step on the brake.

Immo reset not problem. I have many tools fir this.
Question is that proxy function will be programned again after immo resseted and new chip added? Or its like full prox keys without chip need to reset separately?

What id chip use for this id67 ?
