VCDS uses wrong CANID but this gets corrected by gateway. So simplest solutuon is to add a gateway to your setup.

Dear Forum users,
I have an Odometer Golf6 pinout (32) at home
directly connected to an OBD II conenector.
With a laptop + VCDS-HEX-USB-CAN-cable.
I'm trying to connect with [17-Instruments]
(No connection possible)
Odometer goes on at 12v and all the LED`s and display just light up.
What am I doing wrong ????? or can not work without a car.
K-line Odometer Golf4 works with me without a car.
Odometer Golf6 Year of construction 2009 >>>> OBD II Conenector
Pin 16 - Terminal 31 (Ground) >> Pin 4 - Chassis Ground
Pin 28 - CAN High >> Pin 6 - Can (J-2234) High
Pin 29 - CAN Low >> Pin 14 - Can (J-2234) Low
Pin 31 - Terminal 15a (Switched Ign) >> Pin 16 - Battery Power Adapter 12v 3A
Pin 32 - Terminal 30a (Constant 12v) >> Pin 16 - Battery Power Adapter 12v 3A
Thanks in advance for your help
Thanks!! or reputation.

do you need also PIN 5 Ground Signal on OBD...? With CAN Bus

Just 1 ground is sufficient, but please use pin 16.
