Does this means that the tool is worthless?
I ve got a word from a chinese friend that SKP900 Server is off , no longer will support add tokens which will result in a dead tool.
so i tried to add tokens on 3 SkP900 , tried multiple connection and different laptop , it says Server no communication.
if anyone can confirm this , please try the add token software

It has been down before.
The tool is still available, so it might just be temporary.
Not all functions requier tokens. They should release a token free version, V5.0.1
I dont think that i will gamble on the skp1000 or Lonsdor either, until there is a permanent fix.
Best to contact your dealer, and let them sort this with the manufacturer.

all functions needs token on this tool, plus the server has been down for couple of weeks now. if it temporary its a long period. tried to contact superobd : NO ANSWER
i already have lonsdor x100 mvp and other tools so its not a problem for me. but i m sure many has only skp so they will have a problem if its TRUE

I updated mine about 4-5 days ago. Was going to do a packet capture on the exchange with wireshark but have been super busy. Well this sucks, if it goes back up I'll try to make it a priority.
Edit: Wonder if when you do a firmware update if it will reset tokens? If the servers are down for good and they don't come back in a week or two I'll crack mine open and see if there is an eeprom on it or if there is an Atmel than we can read from with SPI. Maybe it'll not have the bitlock set and we can edit it.
Edit2: Well got anxious and don't have much to do right now so cracked her open. The important ic's are surface milled so have no identifying numbers.
Looking to try to see if this chip can be read via SPI or JTAG. Looks like it has a breakout for a header to do this, but not sure what chip it is. Asked on reddit if anyone can help identify the pinout. Anyone here familiar with Atmel AVRs? I don't think it's a cyclone chip.
Also any guesses what the chip below it could be ic10? I know the IC8 is likely a nand or nor chip. My guess is the token count is stored in the chip with the spi or jtag breakout.

Ok got this info from my boys at uobdii
http://www.mediafire.com/file/hmscik...l%20tokens.zip
Use the V5.0 Little File in this zip to flash your device, then it will be token free. Note it has to be V5.0 version.
Didn't work for me though as my device is already at 0 tokens, hopefully works for devices still with tokens available.
