Thumbs up Kia Niro 2018 File

I'm putting this file here just to put it here. I will say that we had a hell of a time removing the needles on this cluster. Best way was to apply heat using a heat gun at 100C . Even then it was still hard. Chip is a 24C32

Hope the picture help. If anyone has any other way of getting to the chip, via traces please let me know. Damaged one of the motors trying to get them off originally.

Don't forget to thank me if you like Any questions I'll try to answer them. I used DSP3+ to set it.

use a multimeter? hold one end to first pin of chip. then check all connections with other end of multimeter on the other end of the board, see if you get a match. then check the other pins

Yea I'm actually working on that right now. Will get back with another picture once I figure it out.

Like 3000 something. This is a damaged cluster that we're using to test the disassembly of it. The pointers don't come off by twisting it and popping it off. Seems you either have to heat the pointer so it soften the plastic so it slides off easily. Or pry on it like a 500 pound gorilla.

Better find a way to read the chip from the back of the board, it is a 24C32 must be easy.

We were trying to do that. I couldn't trace it because it goes right below the large chip.

There must be connection on the MCU MPC5645 I/O system I2C (24C32) pins on the back of the board.

    Indeed there is connection...

Only bug is that it goes from the 24C32 to processor only

I done it but had to change the speed stepper motor after...

Pin 6+7 from counting from right side...

Did you ever figure this out? I am hesitant to remove needles. I as well am using dsp3+. Thanks.
