Default VW Polo, 1.4, CGGB, 2010. Abs/Eps warning lights on after Central Electrics Replaced

    Hi Everyone,

This car had a lot of electrical problems after its battery went flat, it was diagnosed as the Central Electrics malfunction, original long coding and description was noted and copied into the new unit. Part number of the original is 6R0 937 087F and the replacement 6R0 937 087T, everything seemed to go ok and has cured all the electrical problems but i now have the abs/esp and tyre under inflation (I don't think this vehicle has tyre monitoring) warning lights on and the only fault code on the car is in Brakes 01299= Diagnostic Interface for Data Bus (J533) No or incorrect Basic Settings/ Adaptation.

    Long Coding : 24 B0 2B BF 08 A1 00 00 00 30 00 00 3D 2B 0C D0 00 40 41 0F 60 06 00 00 20 00 00 00 00 00

    VIN No: WVWZZZ6RZBU014564

    Any Advise Appreciated.

Check the encoding of the ABS and Diagnostic Interface for Data Bus (J533)

It was the data-bus coding, the diagnostics i was using entered the wrong code into it, i didn't realise at first that the data-bus is built into the Central Electrics Module.
