    Hi.
I changed the VIN manually in dash using the Hexedytor. But it was a VDO meter from VW Passat B5 2003. No RB4. In VDO no. WIN was only in one place. In RB4 it is repeated in several places.

I have looked through your eeprom once again and however the VIN number is also in one place like in VDO.

I exchanged the VDO dash board in the VW b5 2000my on the dash from the VW B5 FL with the FIS 2003 my. The first original counter was immo 2 and the second immo 3. VIN number was different but I could not change it using the Ross Tech procedure. That's why I changed it manually with a hexeditor. EEprom downloaded and uploaded with Vag k can commander 1.4
As I wrote earlier, the VIN number was only in one place and I had no problem to change it. I do not know how to do it in RB 4.
