    Default BMW 2010 F10 problem

    Long story sorry

    - My customer is a car dealer he need a spare key
    - I started the car and noticed to him the car battery is almost depleted
    - he removed the car positve battery cable in the trunk
    - After that i removed the CAS4
    - He connected his battery charger to the battery (cable still unconnected)
    - He just closed the trunk
    - I readed the cas eep with vvdiprog, all fine (not cypted 1L15Y mask) but before noticed the solderings marks (probably the eearlier owner does some dash work)
    - I put back the CAS4 (still unconnected battery) and left the place bcose i have to working another place and he is with customer
    - Later he tried to connect to the positive breakout in the engine bay with a portable jumper (trunk closed battery still unconnected)
    - finally he diassembled the trunk key hole cover and manually opened the trunk and connected the batter back.
    - and maybe he does more thing but he admitted just this two thing on the phone

Only the parking icon working on the dash nothing more. The orig key isn't working and i'm a bad guy now

I think he just messed up something with the charger/jumper
The spare key isn't programmed yet, and i don't want to until the car not starting with orig key

I have to visit him tomorrow morning any thoughts?

    thx

yes it can be that you have corrupt the file by reading the cas.
but can also be that the file get corrupted by removing/connecting the battery.

Okay the problem is probably the corrupted CAS4?
And the two possibilties are the juper/battery thing and the prommer.
The next step tomorrow is reading again the whole CAS and comparing with the backup?

Well i think i made a huge mistake i have only the d-flash

    What possibilities are i have?

    thx

Your mistake always need backup both

First compare D flash if they are same. Post pic of cas i think someone will put here suitable p flash for test. If only p flash corrupt so no big deal.

    Check fuses offcourse

First of all thx the help. I really appreciate it.

The car jumper result is some blown fuses a half dead battery and lot of DTC. The car is strating now
In the future i never i wont let anyone to touch the car while the key learning wont be finished.

It was a good lesson to me.
