    I am after a virgin file for the same ECU, MEV14.4.2 0 261 S06 472. But mine as TC1767 inside.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Use Ktag for read and post your dump

    Please Correct the checksum first. I don't know if Hextag do it automatically, but I used Ktag wich correct checksum automatically

    Incorrect checksum I should still be able to communicate to the ECU in the car though won't I?

    I can read and right the ECU on the bench no issue.

    You think that your ECU is dead ? Try to write original dump and see if you able to communicate to the ECU !

    No without correct checksum,you cannot communicate with ecu by obd
