KD-X2 Transponder and Remote copier

I receive KD X2 when I test to unlock remotes I will share here feedback..

is this function open and available yet , id48 is still not ready , last time i looked at one remote unlocking wasnt open yet either though been a few updates so may have changed

Clone 48 seems possible, i Just received a app update about this.

they are releasing id48 today , but will be charging 150 kcoins for each key or $10usd token for each , you earn free k coins for every remote you generate with kdx2 , you will get 20 k coins for each remote you generate with it , so every 8 remotes you generate you will get 1 free id48 clone , you cannot transfer tokens from other kd units to kdx2 as different tokens .

for me at $10 usd a token plus the cost of what ever cloning chip it will use is going to make it much the same cost as using the silca machine on id48 , but if generating alot of remotes and building up k coins obviously this offsets the cost and makes it more affordable , but you only get these k coins when using kdx2 .

the other limitation is at present you will need an android phone to use this as apple ios not ready yet , and you cant use a tablet unless tablet has a sim card and phone number .

im not sure how this compares to vvdi keytool prices for the same functions .

though i have seen some distributors including davenport burgess in the uk advertising this as token free and no tokens required , if advertising this they may have to honour this with our consumer laws , so well worth buying from them if the case as will save on no id48 tokens and no 3rd party remote generation tokens if no tokens required as advertised by them .

I've tested the JMD King Chip on my KD-X2, seems to be able to generate most of the formats that the Mobile KD app is capable of.
Currently the Handy Baby still has a greater range of chip generations,
But handy to know the King Chips are able to be used by the KD-X2.

Hey Electro bob, so JMD king chips are working now, thats good news, prior there was some issues and they did not work.

I've still found one or two formats that the KD-X2 would not generate successfully on the King Chip,
But it does enough to tell me they're working on it.

I won't put the HandyBaby away in a drawer just yet

KD-X2 cant read audi smart key, 50 HTVAG, key tool read it good.

I tried to clone id48 chip, but keeps telling me to authenticate every time I try to upload to the server. I am already logged in via Facebook any tips I would be grateful ...
