Default edc15c2 questions about compatibility :)

    HI!! dear members.

i have a citroen xsara picasso 2.0 HDI RHY with a faulty ECU (edc15c2) ok, internal chip b342fsc is dead. so i buy another edc15c2 from internet... connect the new ecu and car start without comunication with BSI (again, damn) car still in eco mode with the engine running fine. so, i take my galleto and read 24f400 without problem, when i look the reference number i discover that ecu is not from a citroen instead a SUZUKI... suzuki grand vitara 2.0 hdi. i write with the original dump from old ecu and ecu now its comunicating with BSI, but engine won't start ... i download another dump with the same S/N and car won't start. i disassemble the new ecu and i see a lot of new components non pressents in the old ecu. my question is: can i use this ecu??

    OLD ECU S/N: 0 281 011 521

    NEW ECU S/N: 0 281 011 675

i can move the car but bsi stay in eco mode without radio air etc.

    thanks in advance

...your org ecu is a edc15-11.1 , your ecu from the yunkyard is a edc15c2-10.1 - you must get same family type ecu
Working with : Bosch FLA Dyno , KTS 650, WINOLS , CMD Master, Byteshooter Master, SPI, Powergate,CADOPRO, selfmade tools

...like i said , get a ecu with the same number or at least the same family , otherwise you will have problems
