Default Anyone know the right place to kick a Miele Washing machine?

Had a brilliant week. First my combi packed up then my 2 1/2 year old Miele washing machine.

    The story so far .....

The Mrs started the washing machine not knowing I was going to turn the water off.
Half way through a wash a message appeared " CHECK WATER INLET" and the washer kept beeping.

Turn off the washer to stop the beep.

    Turn the water back on.

Turn the washer back on - totaly dead!

Take top off washing machine, continuity from 3 pin plug to washing machine board plug.
Switch on front of machine makes my multimeter "beep" for continuity when pressed.

    Search on D.K. - nothing
Search google, youtube - nothing that works, prob because its not for my model of machine.

Put on hold while I nail a new boiler in.

1 roll of gaffer tape and a tube of super glue later boiler in.

I suspect there is a reset sequence to reboot te washing machine but at the moment total dead.

Miele W3370 if anyone can help.

    Thanks Meaty.

    Did as you suggested.

Told to unplug machine, open and slam close door. plug in and press "on"

    No joy.

I said I was a little puzzled she hadn't asked which model I had.

She said it works for all models.

But the good news is that she can get an engineer out for £120 for the first hour then £75 per hour after that, plus any parts (which he wont have, meaning a second vist)

Think I'll take out the board and resolder, swap a few relays round, works on Scenic dash boards.

Morel of the story, Sometimes you have to talk to the Mrs ( reserve my view on listening to the Mrs)

Ok, "play on words" turn off at wall, hold on, turn mains on
and /or google them words see what happens.

as its after midnight, no admin, so will see if can get away with mentioning
an "fantastic" (dk million times better) website, if nobody helps you there, open door and chuck it out.

    something like "www.INFERIOR.ukwhitegoods.INFERIOR.UK.STILL.INFER IOR"

dk rules do state no linking to INFERIOR sites.
