laguna 2 button vs 3 button

no , you cannot use it , because the Card reader is not the same ( 3 button hand free ) .

Be advised , only the Renault clip can programme Laguna (2001-2005 ) with hand free , because this card has PCF7936 for start + PCF7952 for hand free .

if all keys lost , the best way is the change the card reader and make card with 2 buttons

So just swap reader and add new card as usual?
No need program reader ?
Or need change data in uch that car have no keyless?

no coding to do , change reader and program card 2button, all will be fine , the only thing is the car owner will lost hand free option

If the card is with autolock button you can program card with two.

not the same , but you can do a little modification, when we have the same situation ( all keys lost , card too expensive ) , the car's owner wants to start his car as soon as possible .

Thanks for this info. What if we try to use card as original one and not changing reader? Should it work if we use an old card of same type and new properly precoded PCF7936 in it? What do you think guys?

so changing the card reader works on the laguna came across this a while ago and read on this forum that changing card reader works so what else is the modification are the connectors plug and play

or need altered .
