Yes, you will need to dismantle dash.
The immobox is still between the heater and firewall.
And a secondhand, with master transponder is often the best choice!

Some programmers will let you add another key as long as you have a master key, I haven't try yet, but seen a few videos on youtube.

Adding a key is possible, even EU cars.
Many tools can do this.

USA i didnt get any japan cars

Done few add H keys using X100+ and Xtool Pad2. Never encounter problem with ADD keys yet.
