Handybaby for example is good, with cheap chips. Ok, the red king chip is not so cheap, but survivable

long term you need to forget the cost of the tool , this pays back and moves to profit , the biggest factor is the consumables cost , the cost of the cloning chips , as this is the continuous cost .

silca currently leads the field in cloning , it was even between silca and keyline until the recent release by silca of their ford 80 bit cloning , they are the only cloner that can clone all ford 80 bit keys at present , thus silca rw4 with m box has most coverage for now , but despite being cheaper than keyline chips their chips are still expensive compared to china chips , but for reliability and coverage , you cannot beat silca at present.

kdx-2 cloning is in its early stages and has very little cloning coverage at present compared to its china rivals like vvdi key tool and handy baby , and all clone to far cheaper chips , however the token prices being charged by the chinese units for 96 bit id48 cloning levels the field when comparing costs of producing a key with the silca unit and on id48 the cloning with rw4 plus and m box is far faster and far more reliable at present to the china units.

so if cloning alot of id48 then with the token costs for this with china units and the fact that silca is token free , costs do not differ that much to produce the key , yes silca rw4 and m box is more expensive initially but once payback is achieved this becomes immaterial and is updated and supported continually .

personally i use handy baby for id46 , id60 etc to take advantage of the cheap chips , i use handy baby with vw assistant too , but on id48 and the ford 80 bit cloning i currently use silca rw4 plus and m box .

but if i was to buy another china cloner at present , it would probably be the vvdi key tool.
