    Default Jeep cherokee 4.7 1996 PCM exchange Please Help

    Hello
    Jeep cherokee 4.7 1996 PCM exchange

    orginal PCM defekt - custom order a used one now i must change it- i only have for this car Launch Tester- he has function PCM change but would like to have code- I do not know where I get this- Can someone help me and tell me how to write the vinnumber into this PCM - thank you very much-

    You only need to change the vin number in the new PCM any tool can easily get this job done if you have abrites commander, Maxidas, DRB etc.

    the 4.7 engine was only released in 1999 onward SUVs are u sure your Jeep is MY1996

    If it’s a 1996 then no programming needed to start and run the car but the 4.7 is only in the 1999 and will be immobilized. You can program through skim functions (PCM replace) with DRB3, Dart, Maximus,etc...

    With your Launch: ECM > Miscellaneous > Check VIN. Write the original VIN and you're done.
